A family company from Revúca, Slovakia, making wooden pallets since 1990.
History
- 1990
Ján Hlodák founds the company as Hlodák Ján – DREVING. We start with sawing timber and making pallets.
- 2004
We continue as Drevinslovakia spol. s r.o., based in Revúca.
- EU projects
With EU funding we raise our competitiveness and reduce the plant's energy intensity.
- Today
We make 150,000 pallets a year and process 1,200 m³ of wood a month. We hold ISO 9001:2015, IPPC and EUR/UIC certificates.
A family company
The company is run by the Hlodák family. Ján Hlodák is responsible for roundwood purchasing, Ing. Marek Hlodák, PhD. manages the company and sales, and Mgr. Ivan Sokol runs production. We decide quickly and deal with customers directly, without intermediaries.
Sustainability
Wood is a renewable material, and nothing from it goes to waste in our production.
Kilns heated with wood waste
Heat for drying and heat treatment comes from burning wood waste from our own production.
Sawdust and offcuts reused
By-products are sold as sawdust, offcuts and firewood.
Lower energy use
We have completed an EU project to reduce the energy intensity of our plant.
