FAQ
Answers to the questions our customers ask most often. If you cannot find yours here, call or write to us.
How much does a EUR pallet cost?
The price depends on quantity, design (for example solid or compressed blocks, moisture content) and place of delivery. Tell us how many pallets you need and where, and we will usually send a quotation the same day.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No, we also sell single pallets. We arrange delivery for orders from 50 pallets; smaller quantities can be collected in person in Revúca.
What is the delivery time?
EUR pallets are in stock and are usually delivered within 2–3 days. Lead times for custom pallets are agreed in the quotation.
Can I collect pallets in person?
Yes, after arranging it by phone, at our site at Železničná 95/294 in Revúca, on working days from 7:00 to 15:30.
Do you buy or repair used pallets?
No. We only make and sell new first-grade pallets from our own production.
Can you make a pallet to our drawing or sample?
Yes. We make custom pallets by hand to your drawing or sample, accurate to the millimetre. If you have no drawing, we will design a pallet for your product and handling equipment and supply samples for testing.
What do IPPC, ISPM 15 and HT mean?
HT (heat treatment) means the wood core is heated to at least 56 °C for at least 30 minutes. The international standard ISPM 15 requires it for wooden packaging exported outside the EU, and a treated pallet carries the IPPC mark. Every pallet we supply comes with a phytosanitary heat treatment certificate.
Which documents do you supply with the pallets?
A phytosanitary heat treatment certificate with every delivery. On request we send a declaration of conformity under Regulation (EU) 2025/40 on packaging (PPWR), a heavy metals declaration, a technical data sheet and copies of our ISO 9001:2015, IPPC and EUR/UIC certificates.
What is the difference between solid and compressed blocks?
Solid blocks are cut from sawn wood. Compressed blocks are made of wood chips pressed with glue at high temperature; they are dimensionally stable and do not crack. We are happy to advise which suits your use. Both types of blocks meet the EUR/UIC standard and are approved for EUR pallets.
What is the moisture content of your pallets?
We dry them to 22 % moisture content, or to another value on request. Finished pallets are stored under a roof.
Do you deliver abroad?
Yes. We deliver regularly within Slovakia and to Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Austria, and can arrange delivery to practically any country in Europe, with our own vehicles or contracted haulage companies.
Can you deliver regularly on a fixed day?
Yes. We plan deliveries for a specific date, and for regular orders according to an agreed just-in-time schedule.
Where does the wood come from?
We buy spruce and fir logs only from the Slovak state forest enterprise LESY SR. Sawing, assembly, drying and heat treatment all take place at our plant in Revúca, so we can document the origin of the raw material, for example for the EUDR regulation.
Do you also sell lumber, sawdust and firewood?
Yes. Boards and beams are in stock and other sizes are cut to order. For sawdust, offcuts or firewood from our production, please contact our production manager Ivan Sokol directly, tel. +421 907 856 672.
