What the declaration covers
Declaration no. DoC-EUR-01/2026 covers new wooden flat EUR-1 pallets measuring 1200 × 800 × 144 mm manufactured to the UIC 435-2 standard. It includes manufacturer's annex no. PV-EUR-01/2026, which describes our production: origin of the wood, drying and heat treatment, quality control and marking.
What the declaration confirms
- substances (Art. 5): lead, cadmium, mercury and hexavalent chromium together at most 100 mg/kg; no impregnation, chemical treatment or PFAS – the wood is heat treated only,
- recyclability (Art. 6): the wood and steel nails can be separated mechanically and recovered,
- packaging minimisation (Art. 10): dimensions and components are set by UIC 435-2 and are necessary for the 1,500 kg load capacity, safety and interchangeability,
- reuse (Art. 11): the EUR pallet is reusable packaging in an open exchange pool, and damaged pallets can be repaired to UIC 435-4,
- labelling (Art. 12): pallets carry the EUR and UIC marks; harmonised PPWR labelling will be added once the European Commission introduces it.
Traceability
Every delivery note and invoice states the declaration number, the number of pieces, the total weight and the batch number, which is the delivery note number.
Extended producer responsibility (EPR)
We sell empty pallets. Extended producer responsibility obligations for packaging placed on the market together with goods are taken on by the customer who packs its own goods on the pallets.
